| Ca a l'air parti pour être super bien fait ! Croisons les doigts pour eux sur le choix de profil et la réalistion des pièces mais je ne suis pas inquiêt, il devraient y arriver car ils ont plein d'infos ... |

| Hello Frenchspeaking gliderpilots!
I have updated the www.spline.dk pages with some text and photos.
The milling is now ongoing....
Sorry about writing english in a french forum, but french is hard to write for a Dane....

| Hi Jan, None of us will be courageous enough to insert messages in two langages ... shame ! Even in this great great glider forum! Thank's for updating your website and keeping us informed. We are impatient to see a spline flying and we are impressed by quality of milling, finish... We cross fingers for you about airfoil ... so hard to design a machine able to fly 13 ' in speed task! Merci ... I have to visit your site . Regards |

| Hi back... Realy super job with milling machine. A lot of nice ideas and fine details... Just a little doubt about back part of the fuselage with a wide visit door and some risk to fragilize the v-tail support ... guess a lot of carbon planned in this area ! Great

| Hello Jan Congratulation for this project. The CAD model is already a huge work performed ! I suppose now you can't wait to see the first model ! Just a question : what is this cavity for on the fuselage ? There is quite the same thing on the Ceres... _________________ La diplomatie ? | Hello Laurent. The cavity your marked is for the connector to the wing servos. As John Rasmussen and I will build the wings by our self, it is possible for us to put the wires trough the spar and place it in the front of the wing, to both get the weight of the wires as far as possible to the nose, and save 100mm of wire in the fuselage, as the connector is closer to the nose. Small weight savings maybe , but anyway.... The other small cavity behind the spar is just a "leftover" in the positive from when I used it for the RaceM-X, it will just be filled up before making the moulds. Sylvian, your are right about the visit door, and we have talked about letting a little "bridge" be left in the bottom to, to make it more stable. About the profile , it is as you say, today the most difficult thing about designing a F3B ship, but our Philosophy was to get 2 good people together making a profile, then we think that the chance that one will "overlook" some bad things on the profile is much smaller. And the profile(s) was actually send back and forward between Benjamin and Peter some times, everytime with small changes, so we really think it will be good. And we think also that Peter and Benjamin is good skilled for the job, Peter has been in the Logoteam working on the abart, wobbegong and shark, and Benjamin is also a F3B pilot that knows what is important, and he is skilled aerodynamic engineer, and has worked at Airbus in Hamburg and is now working at Deutsches Luft und Raumfartsinstitut in Braunsweig (He´s boss is Martin Hepperle) so it can only be good. And if not, they just get a new chance, and I will remill my aluminiumpositives for the wing and make new moulds...:-) Jan |

| Super super Laurent and me tried in the past to encourage Airbus or some subcontractors to help us to get access to milling machines or to 'sponsor' us on some material (foam or aluminium) knowing that the DAO data were possible from aerodynamist friends plus Laurent ... Our contacts have always been positive but when time come to when, how ... can we come during week end... industrial guy always hesitate to lest access to their production tools... We are still looking ... who knows. |

| Hello Denis! Thank you I am fine, right now sitting and polishing some of the aluminium positives, that can´t be better Are you coming to Kassel? We are coming 6 pilots from Denmark, and I will bring some of the parts that we have done so far. Jan |

| Hello Sylvain. Yes I could image me that it is hard to get to machines like that. Sorry to hear that you not succeded with it yet. I am very lycky to have a very nic boss, he really likes to hear about what people is doing in the spare time, and he has no problem letting us use the CNC millingmachines for modelairplanes, parts to Harley Davidsons , etc. , as long as we respect that the "real" jobs comes in first line..... So when a machine don´t have work enough to run trough the night or weekend it is just about finding the aluminum blocks and mill the hole night.... Jan |

faut quand meme du matos... mais c'est super jolie en tout cas...
Je pense que certaines personnes du F3B attendent les essais...
